As the city prepares for the glitz and glamour of the Met Gala on May 5th, a quieter kind of transformation is taking place just a few blocks away at The Surrey, A Corinthia Hotel on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. The newly opened Surrey Spa is offering a restorative ritual designed not just for those walking the red carpet—but for anyone seeking a luminous reset this spring.
In partnership with French botanical beauty house Sisley Paris, The Surrey Spa debuts The Prestige Glow: Met Gala Rejuvenation Facial, a 120-minute wellness experience designed to nourish skin, calm the nervous system, and awaken natural radiance. It’s the ultimate holistic indulgence for the season’s most glamorous night—or simply a mindful celebration of beauty and renewal.
At the heart of the treatment is Sisley’s renowned Phyto-Prestige technique, which incorporates plant-based actives, sculpting massage, and gentle lymphatic stimulation. The facial also includes LED light therapy to boost cellular regeneration, an intensive eye treatment to reduce puffiness and fine lines, and a deep-cleansing ritual to balance and hydrate the skin.
“The Met Gala is a moment of artistic expression—but it’s also about feeling your best from the inside out,” says Pradeep Raman, Managing Director at The Surrey. “This facial was created to reflect that same sense of intention, elegance, and care.”
The Prestige Glow Facial is available through May 31st, and on Met Gala Monday (May 5th, 2025), the spa will offer this experience exclusively to those preparing for the evening’s festivities.
