Luxury meets wide-open wilderness at Brush Creek Ranch, where all-inclusive indulgence, immersive adventure, and restorative wellness unfold across 30,000 stunning acres.
If you’re looking to live out your luxury dude ranch dreams, Brush Creek Ranch fits the bill to perfection. Set upon a 30,000-acre working cattle ranch just 20 minutes from Saratoga, Wyoming, the property manages to marry the remotely rugged with high-end…well, everything. The location (and lack of population) offers up privacy and stunning scenery, surrounded by more than 2 million acres of the Medicine Bow-Broutt National Forest, which draws in everyone from celebrities (a famous band had a bachelor party on our visit), cowboy-hat-clad business types to families and even honeymooners.
Here, guests have the option of staying in luxury log cabins or in the lodge. All rooms are outfitted with 400-thread count linens, fluffy robes, western artwork, and twice-daily turndown–and all offer stunning views for miles.
The most fuss-free aspect of the ranch is that it’s an all-inclusive property. Think breakfast smoothies and hearty burritos served fireside in the a.m. to flown-in seafood and steaks with dinner–paired with their fantastic wine program. The ranch raises its own 100% American Wagyu cattle, and you’ll find everything from burgers to rib-eyes. Here, veggies are grown in the on-site 20,000-square-foot greenhouse where guests can learn the basics of planting, germination, cultivation, and harvesting. There’s also a 30,000 bottle wine cellar, a distillery, bakery, spirit vault, and a creamery where guests can make world-class cheese. Guests often socialized with a game of pool and an Old Fashioned in the saloon pre- and post dinner service.
Schoolhouse Sound Healing Meditation
The spa draws inspiration from both indigenous ingredients and American Western tradition with multiple treatment rooms and a menu with options like the Wyoming River Stone massage, an Altitude Adjustment massage, or the Mountain Spring Hydration facial. I booked the Brush Creek Signature massage and immediately signed up for another the following day. Tip: The Turquoise room in the lodge is directly across from the spa, so guests can pad across the hall to steam or sauna 24 hours a day.
Days at the ranch are built around daily activities–one in the morning and an afternoon session– which can include anything from horseback riding to ATV tours, to fly fishing, skiing, archery, whitewater rafting and loads more. Wellness options are extensive with forest bathing, sound healing, even snowga during the cold weather months. Mornings begin with a sunrise yoga session.
